Since I started sewing, I now observe the world with a new perspective - thinking to myself, "now, I wonder what I could make with that?"
I discovered that by wrapping newspaper or wrappers with contact paper I could transform them into "sewable" materials. My latest creation involved using the wrapper from a 1lb bag of holiday M&M's. I cut the bag in half and sandwiched each half with clear contact paper. I then lined each half with felt and then sewed parallel lines to give the bag a quilted look. Add a zipper and sewed the two pieces together and Wa La - an M&M bag!!
